Christopher’s Cafe is a beautiful little breakfast hot spot located right in
downtown Indian River. They are currently open Wednesday through Monday (closed on Tuesdays) from 8AM-2PM. They offer several delicious and unique menu items, such as elk and bison sausage, savory waffles (like the Meat Lovers and the Eggs Benedict), and Irish and Greek style omelets. Christopher’s Cafe serves a large selection of waffle options, omelet options, skillets, and breakfast combos – making this the perfect stop for the breakfast lover. Their staff is friendly and attentive, and the food they serve is always of the highest quality.
North Star Cafe is a quaint little coffee shop right on South Straits Highway (M-27). They serve Starbucks brand coffee as well as many of
the snack and food options that are available at most Starbucks coffee shops. As an added bonus, this quaint little coffee shop is attached to a gorgeous garden and landscaping store. There are little trinkets and souvenirs, as well as beautiful decorations perfect for vacation homes, rental properties, and even your own house. They also sell a wide variety of annuals, perennials, trees, and shrubs that are perfect for all of your permanent and temporary planting needs. North Star also sells unique gifts, delicious waffle pops, and landscaping tools of all shapes and sizes.
Wilson’s Rivers Edge serves food all day, but they are best known for their incredible breakfast. They have a variety of omelets as well as breakfast
combos. They bake a wide variety of bread, including gluten free. Wilson’s also offers a breakfast buffet with a wide variety of breakfast food options. When you order coffee, they don’t just drop off a mug – they give you an entire pot! No awkwardly trying to catch the waitresses eye so that you can get an adequate caffeine fix! They also offer carryout, and the turnaround time is extremely quick – usually 5-10 minutes. I have taken my family to Wilson’s on multiple occasions, and I have never ordered something I did not thoroughly enjoy. It is a very relaxed, family feel – great place to take kids.
Wildwood Coffee Co. has a highly unique menu containing a variety of
healthy breakfast and lunch options, as well as deliciously creative coffee and other drink options. The current owners of Wildwood Coffee have put their company up for sale, but they have guaranteed their constituency that they would sell to a new owner with similar views and passions. This is an extremely cute coffee shop with a lot of character. It is a must stop in Indian River, because it is so unlike any other coffee shop.
